WQ#6: More Books for Spanish FLES Library

Description

Your suggestion list for the initial collection of Spanish FLES Multimedia Library was very helpful. Many students and faculty have already checked out various materials of their interest, and they are learning a lot. The School Advising Committee now suggests expanding the library by purchasing more books and appointed you as the head of FLES Library Consulting Committee. Teaming with your school librarian, you are requested to help locating good vendors around the world. For continuous purchases of the library, it would be necessary that the vendors (bookstores) have a good selection of children’s books. Could you please help?

Task

Your task now is to find and suggest several good vendors (bookstores) around the world. For the sake of the library, it is necessary that the vendors have a good selection of children’s books. For this purpose;
(1) Give a list of the vendors with their name, address, phone number, fax number, and the email address of customer service (if possible) to your librarian.
(2) For confirmation purpose, you will need to give the vendors some contact information of your school by phone, if they request.

3. Third, once you have located available vendors, check their inventory of children’s books by searching their site. (You may use keywords such as ‘infantiles’ for their sections)

4. Fourth, make a suggested list of vendors. Include in your list their name, address, phone number, fax number, and the email address of customer service (if possible). Send your suggested list to your librarian. (Please see sample A)

5. For confirmation procedure, the vendors may ask you some contact information by phone. So, write down on a sheet of paper your school’s information (school’s ZIP code, phone number, fax number, contact person’s phone number, etc) and all the numbers in words in the adjacent column, (Please, see sample B)
