Description

This weekend, your friend and you are planning a weekend trip. Both of you would like to see a natural area of this country, either the mountains or the beach. You will start planning by checking the weather forecast for this weekend, and then decide on activities.


Task

You will check out the local forecast for this weekend, and based on the weather conditions, you will decide on possible activities.

Process

1. First, visit the suggested sites (A) on basic Spanish vocabulary on weather to refresh your knowledge of Spanish.

2. Second, find out the local weather forecast of your country using the suggested sites (B). You will need to find out the forecast for this weekend.

3. Third, based on your findings of weather conditions, decide where to go and what to do during this weekend. You may choose the beach or mountains, and plan activities according to the place. If the weather is not good enough to go out, then you may plan for indoor activities.

4. Fill out your planning worksheet and check it with one of your Spanish speaking colleagues. You may also ask one of the partner teachers for his/her opinion as a local resident.

5. Keep a copy of your worksheet in your professional portfolio.
