The teacher reads the poem to the students. |

The teacher asks the students to give
her/him words to fill in the blanks. "Joe, What do
you want?"
Joe: "friends"
The teacher asks another student. "What do you want?"
The student answers.
The teacher asks another student, "What don’t you
want?"
The student says what he doesn’t want. |

The teacher reads the poem with the
students. |

The teacher erases the words and repeats
the above steps again. |
