The object of the game is to see who can add the total of numbers on the branches most quickly and accurately. Teacher may divide the class in teams. The teacher will draw a large tree on the board. Teacher will draw at the end of each branch a leaf containing the word for a number. Teacher will ask the class to add the total numbers of the branches. "Students: Please add all the written numbers on the branches." The winner team is the one can add the total numbers of the leaves most quickly and accurately. Teacher can change the name of the numbers of each branch as the game proceeds. Teacher will give everyone the opportunity to participate in the game.
